LADIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP DATE: Saturday, September 28, Sunday, September 29 27 DEADLINE: 7 days prior to the event TIME: Tee Times ENTRY FEE: $35 SCORE: Post as a Tournament TEES: Light Blue / Ladies’ Combo (Championship Flight); Yellow / Forward (all other flights) PRIZES: Winner of Championship Flight is recognized as 2024 Chantilly Ladies’ Club Champion. Prizes are awarded to all flight winners, runners-up, and consolation winners. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Full Golf Members FORMAT: 18-Hole match play. Handicap indexes as of deadline date are used only to determine flighting and seeding within flight; all matches within a flight are played at scratch (handicaps not used). Championship Flight: Defending Club Champion, if entered, will be #1 seed, and players with next seven (7) lowest Handicap Indexes among all entered players will be seeded in order from #2 through #8. If the defending champion is not entered, players with lowest eight (8) Handicap Indexes will be seeded #1 through #8. First Flight: Players with eight (8) lowest handicap indexes among remaining entries, seeded in order from #1 (lowest) through #8 (highest). Second and additional flight(s) may be added depending on total number of entered players. At club’s discretion, flight(s) may be created with four (4) through seven (7) players, but in no case will a flight contain less than four (4) players. Less-than-full flights will utilize bye(s) for quarterfinal round as necessary and will not have consolation round(s). A typical bracket including consolations would look like the diagram below. MEN’S CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (Low 16 qualifiers) FLIGHTED CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (Remaining members who qualified) DATE: September 21-22, 28-29 ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Full Golf Members PRIZES: Flight Winners and Runners-up SCORE: Post as Competition OPEN TO: Men Only FORMAT: Qualifying will be from the white tees for all players. The first 16 qualifiers will be in the Championship Flight. The Championship Flight matches will be played from the black tees. Each additional flight will have 8 players and will play from the white tees. There will be no option for alternative tees at this event. Open slots within flights may be filled at the discretion of the Head Pro, Golf Committee Chairman and Handicap Chairman. All matches will be without handicaps unless a full extra flight is added for members who did not play in the qualifier. ROUND 1: September 21 ROUND 2: September 22 ROUND 3: September 28 FINALS: September 29 Championship Match is 36 holes Flight Matches are 18 holes Tied matches after 18 holes will proceed to a sudden death playoff beginning on Hole #1.
