LGA - October Trophy Day
It's Trophy Day! We will be playing Low Gross, Low Net and Low Putts. you also can say you don't want to be in the event and play for just a score to post. This is a stroke play event. The lowest net score and 2nd place net score will be asked to compete in the finals in November for the big prize awarded at the December luncheon. Pairings will be done by handicap. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. This means that we will start on holes, 1,2,3,4, etc. based on the number of ladies that sign up. If you were to start on hole #4, you would play 4-18 and then go to the first hole to play holes 1-3.

The festivities kick off at Tilly’s Pub on Friday night with live music by Cliff Huey, a complimentary BBQ, and an exciting Glow Ball Challenge. On Saturday, we honor our Founding Members (0001 - 00120) with the Founders Cup and host various golf-themed competitions throughout the day. To wrap up the weekend, we'll be serving Bloody Marys and Mimosas at the starter station by the 10th tee on Sunday. Get ready for a weekend that will create lasting memories! 2024 Founders Cup The Founders Cup is a Club event that has been run annually since the inception of our Club and 2024 marks the 30 year anniversary of the Club's opening. This event is to honor our Founding Members still with the Club. Founding members will be invited directly and this is a complimentary event for them. It will be an afternoon shotgun and meal following. Always fun, and proud hosting this event for members who have enjoyed our Club since 1994.

The 18-hole competition will start on Tuesday morning with two-person teams stableford net points game. LGA - Two Best Balls of the 4-Some
It's Two Best Balls of the 4-some. You can pick your team. This is a net event where everyone plays their own ball and you pick the two lowest net scores and that is your team score for that hole. Repeat this process for all 18 holes. The lowest score wins. Please note who you would like on your team in the notes sections. If you don't have a team, the golf shop will pair you with some new friends. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. 2024 Men's Club Championship (Net and Championship) There are both handicapped and gross divisions of the Club Championship. The overall winner of the gross division will be your 2024 Men's Club Champion. This event is open to limited and full golf members. Format: Match Play* – Men's Club Championship will be a match play event. Championship flight will be gross play and net flights will have strokes allocated off the lower handicap of the two in the match using 90% of current index (as of October 1st). Tees: Net Flights – Granite (Blue) tees, players may elect to play Club (white) tees and handicap will be adjusted per difference in course rating. Championship Flight - Tournament Tees Schedule: Friday, 10/18 Quarter-Final Matches of Handicapped Flights, Stroke Play 18-Hole Qualifying Round for Championship Flight(if necessary). Should the Championship Flight not garner more than 8 sign ups match play will begin Friday in place of qualifier. Saturday, 10/19 Semi-Final Matches in Handicapped Flights & Championship Flight Sunday, 10/20 Men's Club Championship Flight Finals Matches Entry Fees: $50 Per Person Includes Golf, Carts, and Prizes. Senior women's net will qualify for its own separate division with 4 or more eligible in the field. The net and seniors will be playing the pebble tees. Entry Fee: $35. Ladies Halloween Tournament October 29, 2024 $65 Member Price / $110 Non-Member Price Mulligan's will be sold the day of for $20 per team (Cash Please) ($5 per person) Proceeds go to our Girls Golf Scholarship Fund. Includes lunch, cart, greens fees and prizes! Coffee and tea will be available in the morning. 8:00 a.m. REGISTRATION 9:00 a.m. SHOTGUN START 2:00 p.m. – Lunch FORMAT/RULES: FOUR-PERSON SHAMBLE – 2 Best Balls of the Four-Some All players will hit from the tee than select THE BEST DRIVE. The other teammates will pick up their ball and take it to the site of the selected ball and place within one club length. All players will play their own ball from that spot until their ball is holed. One member and Three Guest or Two members and two guests, or three members and one guest, or four members. Two best net balls of the four-some. 80% of your handicap will be used. There is a 3-drive minimum per player. Please pick up if you are out of the hole. Max Score - Net Double Bogey Ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching scorecards on the back nine. TEES: Nugget (Copper) Tees - On Holes 14 & 15 the tee boxes will on the most forward tee boxes.

30-Year Anniversary Weekend Bash Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6 Granite Bay Golf Club first opened its doors in October 1994, and now we're gearing up to mark our 30th anniversary with you! The festivities kick off at Tilly’s Pub on Friday night with live music by Cliff Huey, a complimentary BBQ, and an exciting Glow Ball Challenge. On Saturday, we honor our Founding Members (0001 - 00120) with the Founders Cup and host various golf-themed competitions throughout the day. To wrap up the weekend, we'll be serving Bloody Marys and Mimosas at the starter station by the 10th tee on Sunday. Get ready for a weekend that will create lasting memories! LGA - Two Best Balls of the 4-Some
It's Two Best Balls of the 4-some. You can pick your team. This is a net event where everyone plays their own ball and you pick the two lowest net scores and that is your team score for that hole. Repeat this process for all 18 holes. The lowest score wins. Please note who you would like on your team in the notes sections. If you don't have a team, the golf shop will pair you with some new friends. Please sign up by Noon on Monday. Pairings will be send out by 5 p.m. If you sign up after noon on Monday, you will tee off in the back of the field. We will all start at 9:00 a.m. with a forward shotgun start. This means that we will start on holes, 1,2,3,4, etc. based on the number of ladies that sign up. If you were to start on hole #4, you would play 4-18 and then go to the first hole to play holes 1-3.

All players, from any tees they choose to play are eligible for the net championship and all players eligible (meaning 55+ are ALSO eligible for the net senior women's championship. Senior women's net will qualify for its own separate division with 4 or more eligible in the field. The net and seniors will be playing the pebble tees. Entry Fee: $35. We will be playing Mystery 13 holes. The golf staff will pick 13 holes and will let you know what those holes are after your round. Your net score will be used. You may pick your playing partners. Ladies Halloween Tournament October 29, 2024 $65 Member Price / $110 Non-Member Price Mulligan's will be sold the day of for $20 per team (Cash Please) ($5 per person) Proceeds go to our Girls Golf Scholarship Fund. Includes lunch, cart, greens fees and prizes! Coffee and tea will be available in the morning. 8:00 a.m. REGISTRATION 9:00 a.m. SHOTGUN START 2:00 p.m. – Lunch FORMAT/RULES: FOUR-PERSON SHAMBLE – 2 Best Balls of the Four-Some All players will hit from the tee than select THE BEST DRIVE. The other teammates will pick up their ball and take it to the site of the selected ball and place within one club length. All players will play their own ball from that spot until their ball is holed. One member and Three Guest or Two members and two guests, or three members and one guest, or four members. Two best net balls of the four-some. 80% of your handicap will be used. There is a 3-drive minimum per player. Please pick up if you are out of the hole. Max Score - Net Double Bogey Ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching scorecards on the back nine. TEES: Nugget (Copper) Tees - On Holes 14 & 15 the tee boxes will on the most forward tee boxes.
