Buckhead - Philanthropy Club: Booz @ The Zoo!
You're invited to join our volunteer team for "Boo at the Zoo - 2024"! Date: Saturday, October 19 Location: Zoo Atlanta - 800 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315 Get into the Halloween spirit by volunteering at Atlanta’s favorite family-friendly event! Help greet visitors, hand out treats, and make this Halloween spooktacular for guests of all ages. See details below. Volunteer Details: Shift Times Available: - Morning Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Afternoon Shift: 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Attire: Costumes are optional but encouraged! Just keep it merry, not scary, and family-friendly. Be sure to dress in layers and come prepared for any weather—it’s rain or shine! Assignments: You might be passing out treats, helping with games, or assisting with crafts—assignments are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to get your top pick! Grab your wands and test your knowledge on the wizarding world! Trivia will consist of three to four rounds. You can play as a single or in a group. Kids Club: Friday Evenings This is an excellent way for younger Members to have fun with their friends while their parents enjoy some well-deserved adult time upstairs. Before making a reservation, here are a few essential details: Ages 4 – 12 Kid's Club hours will be between 6-10 pm (Parents must remain on the property) Dinner will be served between 6:30 – 6:45 pm and is included. (Meals ordered off the menu separately from that evening's Kid's Club menu will not be included.) Reservations are required every Wednesday by 5 pm Any reservations after Wednesday will not be accepted. Brookfield - Charity Classic Scream on the Green featuring Hotel Transylvania
Charity Classic Scream on the Green featuring Hotel Transylvania Saturday, October 26 | 7:30 p.m. | Complimentary | Reservations Required This bunch may be monsters, but they know how to throw a party. Check out this fun-loving monster bash on the big screen as we show Hotel Transylvania on the range! Grab your blankets and chairs and leave your pitchforks at home for a night of mysterious and fun adventures! Movie tickets are complimentary and include unlimited popcorn. We will also be preselling Big Screen Baskets until Thursday, October 26 with all your movie theater favorites, and we will have a cash bar available for beverage purchases the night of the event. Outside food and beverage is not permitted. We will also be hosting a Ball Drop with the Roswell Fire Department before the movie. Sales are LIVE NOW on our auction website! Balls can also be purchased through our dining room or golf shop staff. Add a Big Screen Basket, or two or three more, to your order for only $25 each! Then, bring your chairs and blankets and get ready for Hotel Transylvania on the big screen! Let the bidding begin for our annual Charity Classic Online Auction! With many Member-favorites returning, including the coveted parking spots at the front of the Club, lessons with pros and trainers around the Club and a reserved spot in the 2025 Member-Guest golf tournament, as well as professional family portraits compliments of Candra Hall and a financial planning session with Morgan Stanley, place your bids before it's all over Sunday, October 27 at midnight. You can expect: Gigantic Inflatable Corn Maze Axe Throwing Live Music from DJ Casey Krevinghaus Kid's Costume Contest Caricature Artist Face Painter Apple Nacho Bar Pumpkin Decorating + Vendors: Alumni Cookie Dough and Luke & Lils Permanent Jewelry Admission is free, but if you choose to eat, drink, or participate in pumpkin decorating, there will be a fee. Menu + pricing coming soon. This event is open to the entire neighborhood. Please register so we can plan accordingly.
