Shine Day: Walk to End Alzheimer's

COMMUNITY SHINE DAY We believe that true community is the intentional intersection where people with different backgrounds, perspectives and dreams beautifully share life. We believe community begins with eye contact, open ears and sincere handshakes. We believe in the sharing of meals; the literal and figurative breaking of bread that bonds. We believe that when you seek your interests and passions that your community organically grows with those on your left and right. We believe in creating experiences that heighten our senses, ignite joy and allow us all to make play a priority. Walk to End Alzheimer's Saturday, September 28th | 8am-12pm Lake Cunningham Park, San Jose Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association®. It's held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year. We are walking in support of one of our members, Jerry Silva, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The idea was originated by SVCC's Business Forward Council, and supported by the Community Impact Council as a Shine Day. Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. You can make an impact with a donation or even joining our team. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Thank you for your support! 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Silicon Valley, CA: Silicon Valley Capital Club | Walk to End Alzheimer's
