Pasta With Purpose: Farmer Foodshare
Farmer Foodshare is a Triangle-based, nonprofit food hub whose mission is to increase access to fresh, local food for all and to support the viability of marginalized NC farmers to create an equitable food system. All income from wholesale partnerships is reinvested into food access initiatives. Every dollar earned through food hub sales allows Farmer Foodshare to facilitate hunger relief programs and provide nourishing, high-quality produce for the community. They collaborate with volunteers and dozens of community partners to provide fresh, local food for neighbors of all income levels. Murder Mystery Dinner: Shadows of the Past
In the misty moonlit night of the 1920s, shadows of the past unfold within the decaying walls of an old estate on the edge of town. The estate has recently changed hands, its new owners blissfully unaware of the ghostly presence that lurks within. The refurbishments have breathed new life into the mansion, and the owners decide to celebrate with a lavish housewarming party. Little do they know, the night will soon be enveloped in a chilling mystery that transcends the boundaries of the living... Come dressed in 1920's attire—you are part of the show! An interactive who-dunnit that reaches out to attendees to help solve the mystery by collecting clues and listening to a collection of motives and alibis. $45++.
