Site-Building Process
There are a variety of tasks involved with building a new club site. The list below outlines some of the key steps you will want to consider as you build your site out.
- Locate and download images and other assets
- Optimize images & upload them into Episerver
- Configure global settings (navigation, footer, etc)
- Select color scheme, font stack, and site mode
- Create / organize pages
- Create shared componentry that will be used throughout the site (ie. footer stacks, ctas, etc.)
- Build each page
- Map out the content
- Create a wireframe or plan out which components you will use
- Build components (remember to start with the smallest element and work your way up)
- Lay components out onto the page
- Select images to use for each component
- Select colors to use for each component
- Review
- Publish
- Set up other page types:
- Golf course details pages
- Menu pages
- News & news articles
- Events calendar
- Our team
- Review and publish
